In early 2009 significant changes to the FERPA regulations went into effect. Included in these changes are requirements for improved access to educational data for research and accountability. iDoc has robust features that validate compliance with the new requirements including functionality to redact for de-identification, establish print/fax/export only specific areas of documents, and an extensive audit trail with detailed reporting that tracks all actions performed.

Student or business record workflow is facilitated by electronic signature capability, plus the ability to create notes either directly on documents or appended to them. Other useful features include multi-color highlighting on documents, customized addendums or other predetermined standardized verbiage that can be attached to an existing document. Records and documents can be automatically assigned to work queues for task assignment based on client specific criteria.
