Our CareWorks Content Management System can be hosted at client sites or within our data centers. Since it is a purely Web-based application, it does not require any software to be installed on client computers. Thus it enables instant website management from any Internet-capable computer, with full control of the entire lifecycle of content, from planning to final archiving.
Data Centers
Our world-class data centers, partnered with AT&T and maintained by CareTech Solutions, provide fully managed operations 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In addition to numerous hospital-specific, on-campus locations, we maintain our own facility at our corporate offices in Troy, Michigan, with round-the-clock operational support and monitoring.
At the Troy facility we support an IBM mainframe with several LPARs, AS/400s, HP NonStop S86000, HP Unix, IBM RS/6000s, Sun Microsystems, HP/DEC VMS, Citrix Servers, HP/Compaq/IBM/Dell servers, blade servers, storage and tape subsystems, SANs, and Cisco networking infrastructures.
Security and reliability are the keys to successful support for more than 25 client hospitals and over 1,000 IT systems and their related networks. We provide redundant cooling systems, uninterruptible power supplies, fire suppression, secured entry in a Network Operations Center that is continually staffed for rapid response to any emergency. Multiple integrated firewalls protect data storage from unauthorized access. And with redundant Internet bandwidth as part of our dedicated Web hosting, you can be assured that your website will always function at maximum efficiency.
