Orfgen is CEO of a 290-bed community hospital of more than 500 physicians and 1,600 staff. He has almost 30 years experience in healthcare management and has managed hospitals five different states.  Orfgen served 11 years of active duty in the United States Navy and retired with the rank of Commander.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Science from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. He holds two masters degrees from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., one in Administration with a concentration in Personnel Management and the other in Health Services Administration.
