Vice President, Business Development, Service Desk
Karl Graham is responsible for business development and promoting CareTech’s growth.
He joined the company in 2001 to launch and manage healthcare’s first clinically focused IT Help Desk, now called “Service Desk”. Within two years of its launch, CareTech’s Service Desk was acclaimed as the best help desk in the industry by an independent healthcare consulting firm and in 2004, Support Techniques scored Service Desk significantly higher than the industry average and cited its maturity rating as advanced. In 2013, CareTech’s Service Desk was recognized as a category leader in KLAS’ partial IT outsourcing segment.
Karl is frequently invited to speak in national forums about CareTech Solutions’ unique IT help desk approach for supporting hospitals, and he has recently published in the Health Data Management magazine, “Healthcare IT Support: Recommendations for a Critical Need.”
Prior to joining CareTech, Karl served as Director of Operations for the Detroit Medical Center where he reduced telecommunication costs by $10 million. Karl was born and educated in Jamaica where he earned an ACCA level one, equivalent to bachelors’ degree, in Accounting. He came to the U.S. more than two decades ago and started his own computer distribution company in Florida. Karl serves as a district regional supervisor for a faith-based organization and is actively involved in community-focused activities.
