CareTech Expands Relationship with Marietta Memorial Hospital with
Five-Year Total IT Services Management Agreement

TROY, Mich. – September 9, 2009 – CareTech Solutions (www.caretechsolutions.com), an information technology (IT) and Web products and services provider for hospitals and health systems, announced today it has signed a five-year agreement to provide Marietta Memorial Hospital of Marietta, Oh. (www.mmhospital.org) with total IT services management. Under the terms of the agreement, CareTech will provide Marietta Memorial Hospital with a full range of IT and service desk solutions.
CareTech Solutions’ total IT services management agreement with Marietta Memorial Hospital expands the relationship that began earlier this year, when CareTech was engaged by Marietta Memorial Hospital to assist with ongoing implementation of the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management software within Marietta’s affiliated physician’s offices. CareTech provided the technology resources and expertise needed to accelerate the implementation.

Chief among CareTech’s responsibilities will be assuming the IT leadership role at Marietta Memorial Hospital and developing a long-term IT strategic plan that aligns with the hospital’s patient care objectives, as well as healthcare IT provisions in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). CareTech Solutions will also provide Marietta Memorial Hospital with technology installations and support, including assuming responsibility for the full spectrum of IT services in support of the hospital’s IT infrastructure, desktop environment, applications, telecommunications and service desk.
