Five-year agreement designed to improve delivery of healthcare services to suburban hospital.
Southfield, Mich. – May 31, 2001 – CareTech Solutions, Inc., the healthcare subsidiary of Compuware Corporation, announces a five-year agreement with Garden City Hospital (GCH) for the outsourcing of the hospital’s information systems activities. CareTech Solutions will support and maintain the hospital’s data center operations, applications and voice information systems. In addition, CareTech Solutions will provide CIO services and technical resources for the development and implementation of the hospital’s strategic technology plan.

The five-year outsourcing agreement, which further strengthens CareTech’s client portfolio, becomes effective June 10, 2001. The agreement, designed to meet Garden City Hospital’s unique requirements, requires CareTech Solutions to achieve the following specific economic and service level performance objectives set forth by Garden City Hospital.
• Contain costs and provide cost savings
• Improve service levels
• Facilitate physician connectivity
• Implement the hospital’s Enterprise Strategic Plan
