CareTech Solutions, Inc. and Oakwood Healthcare, Inc. Announce 10-Year Total IT Outsourcing Agreement

Southfield, Mich. – June 5, 2002 – CareTech Solutions, Inc., the healthcare affiliate of Compuware Corporation, and Oakwood Healthcare, Inc. (Oakwood), today announced a new comprehensive outsourcing agreement for information technology (IT) services effective June 1, 2002.

The ten-year agreement, valued at approximately $250 million, expands the scope and term of CareTech Solutions’ relationship with Oakwood from a five-year service agreement to a total IT outsourcing partnership. Under the new agreement, CareTech Solutions will provide comprehensive outsourcing services and support including data center operations, help desk, desktop, network, voice, applications and information systems and provide technical resources for implementation of the medical center’s strategic information technology plan.

The agreement with Oakwood Healthcare marks the second contract renewal for CareTech Solutions in 2002. The corporation recently announced a new 10-year total IT outsourcing agreement with the Detroit Medical Center worth $750 million.
