Technology sales veteran to manage Web services sales strategy, communicate full range of technology service benefits to healthcare community
Troy, Mich. – February 14, 2006 – CareTech Solutions, an information technology and health information management services provider for hospitals and health systems, today announced that Raymond Scroggie has been named the company’s Web services division sales manager. Based in Troy, Mich., Scroggie will manage the sales force for the company’s WebCare™ service line, identify new markets and product lines, and help maintain the growth of CareTech’s current customer relationships.

Scroggie brings more than 15 years of sales management experience and leadership to CareTech. He most recently served as senior sales representative for Companion Technologies of Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina, where he was responsible for direct sales of electronic medical record (EMR) software and hardware among physician offices and medical clinics.
His experience also includes establishing vertical markets for Web-based healthcare products, negotiating vendor and distributor agreements and working with research and development teams to develop a patient admission software tool for hospitals. Scroggie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich.
