Document Imaging Software Complements the Hospital’s Current Electronic Medical Record

Oct. 24, 2012) CareTech Solutions, an information technology and Web products and services provider for more than 200 U.S. hospitals was selected by Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, Calif. to provide iDoc™, the company’s document imaging software and management solution. The hospital will use iDoc in conjunction with its Meditech electronic health record for patient registration and health information management.

The EHR Module for iDoc document imaging is 2011/2012 compliant and has been certified by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable certification criteria for Hospitals adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
