Madhava Reddy is the Chairman of CareTech Solutions. Over the past 30 years, he has grown HTC to a global provider of Information Technology solutions, recording significant growth in revenue and market share with thousands of employees around the globe. He ascribes his phenomenal growth to consistent adherence to the core values of Simplicity, Honesty, and Humility based on the principle of Truth. He is a ‘2010 Corp! Magazine’ award recipient and was also named the ‘CII-ICICI Venture Connect 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year’.
Prior to starting HTC, he immigrated to the USA in 1983 as a family immigrant.
Vani Prasad is the Executive Vice President at HTC Global Services (HTC) and also for CareTech Solutions, a HealthCare IT subsidiary at HTC. He has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology. Vani joined HTC in 1996, and developed the Insurance Practice, one client at a time. He has built a robust business unit having customers in many states across the US. He is a Business Management Professional with experience in leading complex business, project and program initiatives for Enterprise IT modernization. Vani also manages a number of technology and solution partnerships, to position HTC well in the industry for tailored software implementations.
From 2018, he is also leading CareTech Solutions as its Executive Vice President, for providing HealthCare IT Solutions to Hospitals and Health Systems. His interests are in offering Thought Leadership and Value Engineered solutions to organizations leading to better business outcomes. He has led digital transformation initiatives to improve customer engagement, derive operational performance, and drive cost savings.
Prior to joining HTC, Vani has led many projects in India, US and UK for various industries and involving a wide variety of technologies.
Vani earned his Master’s Degree in Industrial Management with specializations in Operations Research and Organizational Behavior from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Gunasekaran, Chief Financial Officer, CareTech, has been with HTC Global Services for the past 18 years. He has over 29 years of overall experience in managing Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Administration.
Prior to joining HTC, he was with Amul, Gujarat, India for about 11 years handling Corporate Finance, Audit, and Treasury functions. He was instrumental in implementing the Branch Accounting, ERP, and Systems Audit for Amul by providing domain expertise and coordination to TCS, Amul’s technology partner during the nineties.
Gunasekaran is a Company Secretary and a Cost Accountant, holds an MBA from Annamalai University, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Madras University, and a Professional Diploma in Financial Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He was one among the corporate executives selected to undergo TQM training in Japan during the nineties. He has conducted various workshops and seminars on TQM and was a guest lecturer in the Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), Anand, and Gujarat, India for Costing and Taxation.
Paul manages all legal issues of the corporation including contract negotiations, corporate acquisitions, intellectual property matters, and the statutory and regulatory requirements that govern the company’s business practices, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Stark, which governs the practice of physician referrals to medical facilities.
Additionally, Paul serves as the company’s internal compliance officer ensuring that CareTech conducts business not only in compliance with the applicable law but also with the highest ethical standards.
Paul negotiated the partnership agreement between Detroit Medical Center (DMC) and Oakwood Healthcare System (OHS) that establishes ownership of CareTech Solutions between its hospital partners and Compuware Corp. He later joined the company in 2004, and since then negotiated more than 100 contracts with hospitals for CareTech’s products and services. Most recently, Paul was instrumental in the acquisition of a competitor as well as the purchase of the company’s newest data center.
Paul is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn and the University of Michigan Law School. He is a member of the Michigan Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Previously he was also associated with the law firms Clark Hill PLC and Pepper Hamilton LLP.
A veteran in the Information Technology industry with more than 38 years of experience, Chary Mudumby has been with HTC since August 1994. As Chief Technology Officer, Chary leads the company’s efforts to keep pace with market and technology trends and support business units to open new avenues of growth. Earlier, as head of HTC’s offshore operations, Chary led multiple complex managed services engagements ranging from application development to business process outsourcing. He also spearheads HTC’s product development initiatives.
Chary joined the Company as Director – Technical and also served as HTC’s Executive Vice President overseeing Technology Management and Global Development Centers.
Chary earned an M.S. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology in Chennai, India. He also holds an MSc. Tech. in Physics and Electronics (with a gold medal).
Chief Strategy Officer
George Surdu, with more than 43 years of IT leadership, spanning both the automotive and banking industries, is the Chief Strategist at HTC Global Services. He leads the coordination and development of an integrated decision-making strategy for the business as well as the setting of technology-related products and service directions that will be the focus of HTC through 2020. George also provides insights for Marketing and Sales, Technology Research and Innovation Services, Technology Partnership Programs, and Industry Analyst Relationship Management.
Previously, as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Comerica Bank, George led all IT activities including software development and production support, infrastructure operations, IS security services, advanced technology research, technology engineering, IS business relationship management, and IT risk assurance. At Ford Motor Company, he held several executive positions across eight divisions, most notably as Director, Global Infrastructure Services.
Venu Vaishya leads the human resources function at CareTech Solutions and is responsible for US business operations and global strategic sourcing for CareTech’s parent company, HTC Global Services, Inc. He supports and monitors operations and business development across all verticals. His responsibilities at CareTech include managing human resources operations, employee benefits, and training. As part of the executive leadership, he is involved in strategic planning.
Venu brings over 41 years of diverse business leadership experience in the IT Industry. He came to HTC after a successful career at Covansys/CSC (18 years) and TCS (16 years). During his tenure at Covansys/CSC, he managed a group that was responsible to open new logos, led the automotive business unit, and the human resources function. He managed a multi-million dollar strategic account with over 800 professionals globally. As the head of human resources at Covansys, Venu played a vital role in the IPO and integration of several newly acquired companies. As Executive Vice President of Offshore Solutions, he played an integral role in driving growth from overseeing contract negotiations to executing a large contract for one of their top clients.
As VP of IT operations with CareTech Solutions, Gerald Laporte brings to HTC a strong combination of strategic planning, operational excellence, and systems engineering experience.
A tech enthusiast, he has a strong background in leadership competencies needed to meet business realities. Jerry, with his 40+ years of experience, is well versed in organizational transformation and through his leadership has enabled change and sustained performance.
Prior to joining HTC, Jerry was Chief Information Officer at NetMD Business where he was instrumental in aligning IT plans with strategic business objectives, including revenue growth and profitability. At Compuware Corporation, he was responsible for the leadership and direction for the enterprise technology operations, data center, and network infrastructure.
Jerry is active in the IT community and has served on several boards. He was a member of the advisory board, fostering knowledge and awareness in Disaster Recovery, and speaking at large forums and conferences. Besides carrying on full-time senior management positions in Information Technology, Jerry was an evening teacher at a local high school.
A graduate from the School of Banking at Central Michigan University, Jerry enjoys spending time with family and the company of a good book.
