Madhava Reddy is the Chairman of CareTech Solutions. Over the past 26 years, he has grown HTC to a global provider of Information Technology solutions, recording significant growth in revenue and market share with thousands of employees around the globe. He ascribes his phenomenal growth to consistent adherence to the core values of Simplicity, Honesty, and Humility based on the principle of Truth. He is a ‘2010 Corp! Magazine’ award recipient and was also named the ‘CII-ICICI Venture Connect 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year’.
Prior to starting HTC, he immigrated to the USA in 1983 as a family immigrant.
John Karras serves as the Senior Vice President of Client Operations. His responsibilities include leading and managing client relationships with all existing CareTech clients and setting the direction for our client facing onsite teams and Application Management Services. He works with the Sales and Business Development teams to grow revenue with existing clients. He is an integral part of the company’s strategy to grow business and promote the brand identity internally and externally.
John has been with CareTech in many different roles and has been leading the operations for two of our largest accounts for over 17 years.
He brings years of experience in the Information Technology and the Healthcare industry.
Karl Graham is responsible for business development and promoting CareTech’s growth.
He joined the company in 2001 to launch and manage healthcare’s first clinically focused IT Help Desk, now called “Service Desk”. Within two years of its launch, CareTech’s Service Desk was acclaimed as the best help desk in the industry by an independent healthcare consulting firm and in 2004, Support Techniques scored Service Desk significantly higher than the industry average and cited its maturity rating as advanced.
Karl is frequently invited to speak in national forums about CareTech Solutions’ unique IT help desk approach for supporting hospitals, and he has recently published in the Health Data Management magazine, “Healthcare IT Support: Recommendations for a Critical Need.”
Prior to joining CareTech, Karl served as Director of Operations for the Detroit Medical Center where he reduced telecommunication costs by $10 million. Karl was born and educated in Jamaica where he earned an ACCA level one, equivalent to bachelors’ degree, in Accounting. He came to the U.S. more than two decades ago and started his own computer distribution company in Florida. Karl serves as a district regional supervisor for a faith-based organization and is actively involved in community-focused activities.
Jill Fossano, Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development has 28+ years of experience in the Healthcare IT industry. She has been with CareTech Solutions, HTC Global, Inc. since September 6, 2016.
In addition to heading the sales team, her responsibilities include creating relationships with the leadership at healthcare providers, identifying some of the top industry challenges, and providing IT solutions by leveraging CareTech and HTC’s service offerings. Jill is a well-respected Senior Professional in Healthcare IT, with over 25 years of experience holding similar positions with other companies, including Dell and Xerox. Jill has been recognized as an innovative leader in her distinguished career and awarded as one of “Top 100 Women in Healthcare Information Technology Leaders” twice in a decade. She has a proven record of accomplishment of sales as well as extensive knowledge of the industry. In addition, she is well versed in many of the products and services that CareTech provides to its clients.
Jill started her career at Beaumont Hospital in Hospital Administration. She later worked for some of the top Fortune 500 Companies including Per-Se Technologies (McKesson Corporation), Dell, and Xerox for the next 20 years as the Vice President of Sales responsible for Sales and Marketing. She focused on defining solutions for Physicians and Enterprise Healthcare Systems, such as technology implementation, large ITO outsourcing, disaster recovery, IT Infrastructure, BPO, IDN, ECM, EHR implementation, consulting services, staff augmentation, and managed services, mobile clinical computing, and revenue cycle services. She also provided an end-to-end solution for healthcare systems working on multiple platforms including Epic, Cerner, McKesson, MEDITECH, NextGen, Allscripts, Siemens, GE Centricity, and many more.
Vani Prasad has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology, as is a Vice President at HTC Global Services (HTC) since 2004. Vani joined HTC in 1996 and developed the Insurance Practice for HTC, one client at a time. As Vice President for Insurance and HealthCare Services, he has built a robust business unit having customers in many states across the US. He is a Business Management Professional with experience in leading complex business, project and program initiatives for Enterprise IT modernization.
His current interest is in the digital transformation that is happening across all industries to improve customer engagement, derive operational performance, and drive cost savings through value-driven solutions and services. Vani also manages a number of technology and solution partnerships, to position HTC well in the industry for tailored software implementations. Prior to joining HTC, Vani has led many projects in India, USA, and UK for various industries and involving a wide variety of technologies.
Vani earned his Master’s Degree in Industrial Management with specializations in Operations Research and Organizational Behavior from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Jeff Bell, more than 30 years of experience in healthcare IT and cybersecurity, is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for CareTech Solutions. He has held IT management and leadership positions at numerous organizations. At the Detroit Medical Center (DMC), Jeff was the manager of System Integration and Client Services. At the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Michigan (VNA), Jeff was the IT Director/CIO and security officer. His most recent stint was at PwC in the cybersecurity and privacy practice.
Jeff has the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) and Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) certifications. He was the chairperson of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Privacy and Security Committee and the Risk Assessment Workgroup of the HIMSS Privacy and Security Committee and a member of the CPOE Workgroup of the HIMSS Enterprise Information Systems Committee. Jeff is a member of the SANS Advisory Board, InfraGard and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Gunasekaran, Chief Financial Officer, CareTech, has been with HTC Global Services for the past 14 years. He has over 25 years of overall experience in managing Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Administration.
Prior to joining HTC, he was with Amul, Gujarat, India for about 11 years handling Corporate Finance, Audit, and Treasury functions. He was instrumental in implementing the Branch Accounting, ERP, and Systems Audit for Amul by providing domain expertise and coordination to TCS, Amul’s technology partner during the nineties.
Gunasekaran is a Company Secretary and a Cost Accountant, holds an MBA from Annamalai University, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Madras University, and a Professional Diploma in Financial Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He was one among the corporate executives selected to undergo TQM training in Japan during the nineties. He has conducted various workshops and seminars on TQM and was a guest lecturer in the Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), Anand, and Gujarat, India for Costing and Taxation.
Paul manages all legal issues of the corporation including contract negotiations, corporate acquisitions, intellectual property matters, and the statutory and regulatory requirements that govern the company’s business practices, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Stark, which governs the practice of physician referrals to medical facilities.
Additionally, Paul serves as the company’s internal compliance officer ensuring that CareTech conducts business not only in compliance with the applicable law but also with the highest ethical standards.
Paul negotiated the partnership agreement between Detroit Medical Center (DMC) and Oakwood Healthcare System (OHS) that establishes ownership of CareTech Solutions between its hospital partners and Compuware Corp. He later joined the company in 2004, and since then negotiated more than 100 contracts with hospitals for CareTech’s products and services. Most recently, Paul was instrumental in the acquisition of a competitor as well as the purchase of the company’s newest data center.
Paul is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn and the University of Michigan Law School. He is a member of the Michigan Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Previously he was also associated with the law firms Clark Hill PLC and Pepper Hamilton LLP.
A veteran in the Information Technology industry with more than 33 years of experience, Chary Mudumby has been with HTC since August 1994. As Chief Technology Officer, Chary leads the company’s efforts to keep pace with market and technology trends and support business units to open new avenues of growth. Earlier, as head of HTC’s offshore operations, Chary led multiple complex managed services engagements ranging from application development to business process outsourcing. He also spearheads HTC’s product development initiatives.
Chary joined the Company as Director – Technical and also served as HTC’s Executive Vice President overseeing Technology Management and Global Development Centers.
Chary earned an M.S. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology in Chennai, India. He also holds an MSc. Tech. in Physics and Electronics (with a gold medal).
Chief Strategy Officer
George Surdu, with more than 40 years of IT leadership, spanning both the automotive and banking industries, is the Chief Strategist at HTC Global Services. He leads the coordination and development of an integrated decision-making strategy for the business as well as the setting of technology-related products and service directions that will be the focus of HTC through 2020. George also provides insights for Marketing and Sales, Technology Research and Innovation Services, Technology Partnership Programs, and Industry Analyst Relationship Management.
Previously, as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Comerica Bank, George led all IT activities including software development and production support, infrastructure operations, IS security services, advanced technology research, technology engineering, IS business relationship management, and IT risk assurance. At Ford Motor Company, he held several executive positions across eight divisions, most notably as Director, Global Infrastructure Services.
Venu Vaishya leads the human resources function at CareTech Solutions and is responsible for US business operations and global strategic sourcing for CareTech’s parent company, HTC Global Services, Inc. He supports and monitors operations and business development across all verticals. His responsibilities at CareTech include managing human resources operations, employee benefits, and training. As part of the executive leadership, he is involved in strategic planning.
Venu brings over 40 years of diverse business leadership experience in the IT Industry. He came to HTC after a successful career at Covansys/CSC (18 years) and TCS (16 years). During his tenure at Covansys/CSC, he managed a group that was responsible to open new logos, led the automotive business unit, and the human resources function. He managed a multi-million dollar strategic account with over 800 professionals globally. As the head of human resources at Covansys, Venu played a vital role in the IPO and integration of several newly acquired companies. As Executive Vice President of Offshore Solutions, he played an integral role in driving growth from overseeing contract negotiations to executing a large contract for one of their top clients.
