(TROY, Mich. Dec. 4, 2012) CareTech Solutions announced today that Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio extended its IT services contract with the company, including responsibility for: IT strategy, IT leadership, data center management, clinical help desk, and remote monitoring of infrastructure and applications. This new three year extension that began in 2009 brings the partnership agreement to a total of eight years.
“The requirements for health IT have changed dramatically in the three years since Marietta Memorial Hospital began its partnership with CareTech Solutions,” said Scott Cantley, president and CEO of Marietta Memorial Hospital. “And in that period of time, CareTech has led us through every strategic IT consideration, including integrating a multitude of disparate systems in order to meet early Meaningful Use requirements, all while staying within our hospital IT budget. Because it’s so rare to find professional services partners who can make the right things happen as quickly as CareTech did, it was critical to Marietta Memorial’s ongoing success to keep them as a part of our team.”
